R.J. Amin, M.D. is a fellow to the American College of anesthesiologists. Dr. Amin received his Doctor of Medicine from the faculty of Medicine, M.S. University of Baroda, India in 1972. He completed his rotating internship in 1973 and his general surgery internship in 1974 at Sir Sayaji General Hospital, Baroda, India. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1977.

Special honors and awards include the National Merit Prize for Outstanding Performance in Senior Secondary School of Examination by Ministry of Education, Government of Kenya. He was also honored by the Governor of the State of Oklahoma for helping the victims of the explosion of the bombing at the Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1994.

Dr. R.J. Amin became a member of the Central Oklahoma Anesthesia and Pain Management Services in October 1999. Prior to that, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and as an Anesthesiologist at Mercy Health Center. Dr. R.J. Amin is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologist, International Anesthesia Research Society and Fellow of the American College of Anesthesiology.
